Position: Senior Product Specialist

Mission is to continue to dominate the derivative risk management / hedge accounting space. To help in this mission, the company seeks to hire a Senior Product Specialist (SPS) who can work closely with the US sales team as its technical and domain expert. The SPS will work out of New York City office, and / or will also be allowed to telecommute and work remotely and be part of a global sales team reporting to Vice President of Sales, NY. The SPS will assist in technically qualifying accounts, preparing and delivering presentations/demonstrations of the company’s products, leading the RFP/RFI processes and helping to prepare any ROI documents for the prospect. They will be the interface with the Development, Professional Services, QA and customer support teams, to make sure that client/prospect needs are being addressed, and to insure that they fully understand all features of the product today and in the future.
This is a high visibility position as the candidate will have to interact with Heads of Treasury departments and Chief Accountants at prospective clients.

Required Experience:
A good candidate would possess the following:

  • 5+ years working in a corporate treasury department, an ALM department, a treasury consultancy firm, or in the audit practice of the Big 4. Basic knowledge of derivatives, Hedging and/or Risk Management.
  • Knowledge of Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate, and/or commodities, as pertaining to hedging activities.
  • A solid understanding of FAS 133 and how it relates to treasury hedging activities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • The willingness to travel within the US to visit and present to potential customers
  • Positive, can do attitude
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required, MBA in Business or Finance is highly preferred

Position: Account Manager

Looking for an experienced Account Manager (“AM”) who would be responsible for managing the existing relationships of current client base for North America. The AM would be responsible for up-selling additional users subscriptions, modules and development and consulting services by building strong relationships with the key decision makers of the client’s organization. Additionally, the AM will be responsible for subscription renewals and minimizing subscription cancellations. The AM will be the central point where the client can escalate any issues with respect to the software of services being provided by the firm.

The candidate should have the proper experience in relationship management of a financial technology provider to either Corporate Treasury and, or Financial Institutions. The candidate should be highly motivated and dedicated, with a natural talent towards building relationships and being able to close business.

The candidate will report into the Head of Sales and formulate and execute a plan to increase revenues from the existing client base as well as to prevent non-renewals of subscriptions.

Required Experience
A good candidate would possess the following:
Sales & Account Management Experience

  • At least five years experience as a successful Account Manager
  • Have a proven track record for Account Management generating in excess of $3,000,000 of revenue in a year over dozens of accounts through up-selling and cross-selling.
  • Have expertise in the art and science of solution selling.
  • Be able to liaise with the various internal departments to help facilitate any client relationship issues.
  • Good networking and relationship building skills
  • Must be responsive and efficient at following up with client inquiries
Domain Experience:
  • Have solid understanding of the requirements of corporate treasury including derivative hedging, risk management, procurement, back office operations, accounting and technology.

Professional Development Program
The Professional Development Program (PDP) allows undergraduates and graduates with the opportunity to do interdepartmental rotations based on individual development needs over a period of 12 to 18 months. The goal of this program is for the selected candidate to gain a better understanding of the company’s business, financial markets, a customers needs. Each candidate will be mentored by a senior manager in the company during this program and his/her performance will be reviewed on periodically.

Rotation#2: Operations (2 months)
Discover the intricacies of financial markets and the power of published market data across multiple financial products. Learn the end of day and end of month processes and the significance of these to customers.

Rotation#3: Customer Support (2 months)
Experience the fast paced world of managing customer expectations and providing real time solutions to real time challenges.

Rotation#4: Marketing & Sales (2 months)
Learn what it takes to strategically market in the financial services sector. Tactically gather competitive data, research new markets and discover new opportunities.

Rotation#5: QA (2 months)
Understand what it takes to deliver high quality mission critical software solutions. Hands-on experience with major software release.

Rotations#6: Business Analysis (2 months)
Work on special project to research, document, test and train on new functionality being introduced to the application. Opportunity to demonstrate and integrate lessons learned from previous rotations to add value to product enhancement.

At the successful conclusion of this rotation, the candidate will join the consulting team as a Financial Analyst.

Required Experience
